You pay for what you actually send

What is metered

Four things, measured where they happen

Usage is recorded per dimension, each with its own price and included allowance. The shape of your traffic is what decides the bill.

What PushCaster meters, the wire name of each dimension, and how it is counted
DimensionCounted as
Messages publishedmessages_publishedOnce per trigger, however many subscribers it reaches.
Messages deliveredmessages_deliveredEach copy that actually reaches a client.
Connection timeconnection_secondsTime connections were held open, in aggregate — not concurrent peak.
Bandwidthbandwidth_bytesBytes carried in and out, across both surfaces.

Questions

What people ask before signing up

Are there plans, tiers or seats?
No. One rate card for every account. Adding a teammate does not change what you pay, and there is no tier to cross.
Is there a monthly commitment?
No. Nothing recurs and nothing is committed. You top the wallet up when you want to; usage draws it down.
How does the prepaid wallet work?
Metered usage is drawn from a balance you top up. Being prepaid rather than invoiced in arrears, no month runs ahead of what you meant to spend.
Why does this page not show prices yet?
Because none has been published yet. The model is settled; the numbers are not approved. A provisional figure here is how a customer ends up comparing it to an invoice that disagrees. The page fills in from the pricing API when a card is in force.
